Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter “Terms”) refer to the use of the website www.jobconvo.com (hereinafter “Site”), or any service included at recruitment and selection platform (hereinafter “Platform”), of VIA6 S/A (hereinafter “JOBCONVO”), a legal entity of private law, register on Brazilian CNPJ/MF number 07.158.049/0001-16, head officed on Avenida Contorno nº 5417, 9º andar, Bairro Cruzeiro, CEP nº 30.110-925, Belo Horizonte, Estado de Minas Gerais. Read these Terms carefully, as it is the document that conducts the relationship between Users and JOBCONVO.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or legal entity, you agree that you have the internal authorization and/or competence to bind that entity (hereinafter “Company”), its affiliates, and all users who use the access services through Company’s account to these Terms. If you do not have such internal authorization and/or competence, or if you do not agree with the terms and conditions, you must not accept these Terms and will not be able to use JOBCONVO’s services. In addition, these Terms also conduct the list of candidates interested in submitting their resumes and applying for job openings on JOBCONVO’s Recruitment and Selection Platform (hereinafter, “Candidates”). Companies and Candidates will be jointly treated as the users for whom these Terms are intended (hereinafter “Users”).

ACCOUNT

For the Candidate to register an account on JOBCONVO’s recruitment and selection platform, it is necessary to provide confidential and legal data such as name, valid email, social security number or similar, valid telephone number, and password. It is necessary to be a natural person and at age of majority, according to the law of contract’s location. Exceptions may apply for apprentices contracts. Accounts created by anyone without the prior consent of JOBCONVO’s team are not allowed. Accounts created by “robots” or other automated agents are not allowed. Your account will be activated only after accepting these Terms. Your account is personal and non-transferable, so your password cannot be shared with other users.

To register a corporate account, you must provide your name, position in the Company you represent, email address, Company name, number of employees of the Company you represent, and telephone number. Representing the Company, you can create individual user accounts with personal access.

However, you will be responsible for the activities of individual users as well as all activities carried out from the Company’s account, including content generated by third parties linked to your account. You must maintain the confidentiality of your account access credentials. If your data gest compromised or there’s illegal access to your account, you must notify JOBCONVO immediately by website. JOBCONVO cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from failure to comply with this security obligation.

Users are responsible for the authenticity, accuracy, and timeliness of the information provided to JOBCONVO.

CONSENT

By accepting these Terms, the Candidate authorizes JOBCONVO, as well as its representatives, licensees, service providers, and assignees, to create resumes, photographs, digital images, and audio and/or video recordings to transmit, broadcast, reproduce, use, publish, display and disseminate, your name, appearance, image, voice, speech, and presentation (whether in real-time or as embodied in the photographs, images, and recordings described above) solely for the purpose of enabling you to perform or participate in hiring processes and job interviews, as well as allowing you to participate in preparing or counseling for job-related interviews. To achieve these purposes, you authorize JOBCONVO to store, reproduce, transcribe, display, edit, in part or whole, the materials provided on the platform.

CONDUCT

Users commit to using JOBCONVO platforms based on the rules described below. Violation of any of these rules will result in the termination of your account. By accepting these Terms, you agree to comply with the rules for using the platform and acknowledge that JOBCONVO cannot be held responsible for inappropriate behavior in disregard of the indicated rules. Furthermore, JOBCONVO cannot be held responsible for the content posted on the Site or platform. You agree to use the website at your own risk.

Through these Terms, Users agree to:

  • Make diligent and responsible use of the Platform and Site;
  • Provide complete, true, and updated information on the Site and Platform;
  • Not to violate the rights of third parties when using the services of the Platform and Site, including intellectual property rights, for example, through reproduction, transmission, or use in any form of JOBCONVO’s content, including texts, graphics, brands, logos, databases, etc.)
  • Not to use technologies, scripts , robots, or software to copy or scan content available on the JOBCONVO Website or Platform, including the prohibition of technologies such as web crawler.
  • Do not create false identities or vacancies on the Site or Platform, so that JOBCONVO is exempt from liability for incorrect information provided by Users.
  • Do not carry out activities that may create information security risks for JOBCONVO, for example, publishing content that contains software virusesworms , or any other harmful codes.
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, decipher or otherwise attempt to extract JOBCONVO ‘s source code or any related technology.

In addition to the rules described, Companies agree not to require Candidates to (i) make a second registration in addition to the one made on the JOBCONVO’s Platform; (ii) click on advertisements of any nature as a condition for offering the vacancy; (iii) perform any other actions that do not involve the JOBCONVO platform and are unnecessary for the hiring process.

SERVICE

The online interview service provided by JOBCONVO must be used and determined, solely and exclusively, by the account holders, Company, and Candidates within the scope of the recruitment process. JOBCONVO does not play any role in initiating the transmission of interview content, nor does it determine recipients to carry out interviews or not, nor does it alter or modify any information contained in interviews.

JOBCONVO is not responsible for the elaboration of selection criteria for Companies and does not express any opinion regarding the quality or suitability of any Company or Candidate.

Furthermore, JOBCONVO does not endorse any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed by Users of the Site and Platform. JOBCONVO expressly renounces any liability in connection with such content. Thus, by accepting these Terms, you agree that JOBCONVO is not responsible for any loss, damage or harm to any individual, arising directly or indirectly from any information published or made available through the Site or Platform.

JOBCONVO reserves the right, at any given time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, its service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Price changes may occur after 15 days communicated by JOBCONVO.

Notice may be provided via website or via email to account holders. JOBCONVO cannot be held responsible by you, or by any third party, for modifying, changing prices, suspending, or discontinuing the service or the website.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

JOBCONVO allows Companies to purchase vacancy packages through credit cards payments. Credit card information is not stored and/or disclosed by JOBCONVO. The whole payment process is managed by partner sites, which are the sole and exclusive owners of access to such information.

Plans can be automatically canceled on the JOBCONVO’s portal, in the billing area, by clicking on the link available at the bottom of the site. JOBCONVO does not refund already billed amounts. Cancellation by the Company guarantees the use of the platform while the plan is still active.

TESTS

By accepting these Terms, you are aware that JOBCONVO may promote tests to change and improve the products of the Site and Platform. JOBCONVO will periodically test its Site and reserves the right to include its users in these tests, without prior notice.

TERMINATION RIGHT

JOBCONVO reserves the right to terminate or restrict the account of its customers or users, at its sole discretion, upon prior notice of 30 (thirty) days in advance.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES

The Platform and Website may contain links to third-party websites. Access to any other internet site linked to this Site and Platform is at the user’s own risk and JOBCONVO is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any information, data, opinions, advice, or statements made on third-party platforms. JOBCONVO provides these links only as a convenience and the inclusion of such links does not imply endorsement.

LITIGATION

It is agreed between JOBCONVO and its users that any disputes or disputes involving these Terms will be submitted for processing and judgment before the court of the district of Belo Horizonte – MG – Brazil, waiving any other, however privileged it may be.

CHANGES TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE

JOBCONVO reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove parts of these terms at any time, without prior notice. You should periodically check these terms for changes in your use of the site. Upon posting any changes to these terms, you are agreeing to accept those changes.
